We usually feel several emotions at any given time. Try to name as many as you feel in that moment. Try to locate where you can feel those emotions in your body. You can write them down and then gently, lovingly touch those areas that are feeling deeply and communicating something important to you.
Step 2. Ask Yourself - WHAT ART MEDIUM CAN HELP ME FEEL AND EXPRESS THESE EMOTIONS?
The focus here is on taking action and expressing your emotions in a way that engages your senses. Trust that your creativity is enough. Your body will guide you and remember that no one needs to see or hear what you're making. The focus here is on feeling, so when the inner critic starts talking, notice it and continue anyway staying true to your emotional expression. Here are some art options:

Step 3. Ask Yourself - HOW WAS THAT FOR ME?
When you feel that your creative expression has come to a natural end, try to reflect on your experience by asking yourself:
How was that for me?
What images, metaphors or insights emerged?
What did I like? What didn't I like?
What part was easy? What part was challenging?
Was any part helpful?
What do I need now?
You can use this approach whenever you feel the desire to understand your emotions and uncover what you really need. You can also try various art mediums together such as collage and then writing, or listening to music and moving. Write down anything that feels important to remember.
